Terms of sale
The terms on which Click Inspection Ltd provides the app and the web portal to assessors and firms. Last updated 9 October 2026.
Who we are
Click Inspection is provided by Click Inspection Ltd (“we”, “us”), a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17510667) with its registered office at 124–128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX. Write to info@clickinspection.com about anything on this page.
These terms
These terms, the prices on our website when you subscribe, and our privacy policy make up the agreement between us and the person or firm that opens the account (“you”). They apply from the moment payment for your plan first clears. An inspector using a firm’s account does so under the firm’s agreement with us.
We send notices to the email address on the account. Send yours to info@clickinspection.com.
For business use
Click Inspection is sold to energy assessors and firms for use in their business, not to consumers. By subscribing you confirm you are acting for your business. The cancellation rights consumer law gives to people buying for themselves do not apply; your right to cancel is set out below.
What you get
- The Click Inspection app, for capturing inspections on site, with or without signal.
- The web portal, for working on inspections at a desk, and the reports, documents and exports it produces.
- The features of your plan, as described on our website when you subscribe.
We improve the service over time and features change. We will not take a main feature of your plan away during a period you have paid for, and we will tell you at least 30 days before we remove one.
Your responsibilities as the assessor
- The inspection is yours. You are responsible for the inspections you carry out and for the reports and records you lodge. The service helps you record and write them; the professional judgement and the compliance decisions stay with you.
- Check what is filled in for you. Photo reading and drafted report text can be wrong, and anything a photograph cannot show is left blank for you to complete. Check them before you rely on them.
- Lodgement is separate. You lodge through your accreditation scheme. Your scheme membership and lodgement fees are not part of our prices.
- Keep the account safe. Keep logins and claim codes to yourselves, give each inspector their own seat, and tell us straight away if you think a login or a phone has been compromised. You are responsible for what is done under your account.
- The people in your records. Inspection records hold details of building owners, managers and operators. You are responsible for being entitled to record them; we process them for you, as the privacy policy describes.
Plans and prices
- Free trial: your first 3 reports free, for one inspector, for up to 60 days from sign-up, with every premium tool included. A report is counted the first time an inspection’s ACIR XML is exported. One free trial per assessor and accreditation number, and no card is taken. When the trial ends, capturing carries on and everything you have recorded is kept; exporting a new report and the premium tools wait until you choose a plan.
- Pay As You Go: £17 a survey, with no monthly fee. A survey is charged the first time an inspection’s ACIR XML is exported; exporting the same inspection again, for example after a correction, is not charged. Survey fees stop at £197 in each monthly billing period. Premium tools are charged when you use them, at the price shown before you choose them, and are not part of the £197 limit.
- Private: £197 a month for one inspector, with unlimited surveys and every premium tool included except the two Corporate-only tools, the Asset Management Assessment and the Ancillary Energy Report.
- Corporate: £247 a month, including the first inspector, with unlimited surveys and every premium tool included, the Corporate-only tools among them. Each further inspector is £147 a month, charged only for a month in which they survey.
- Pay As You Go and Private are for one inspector each; a team needs Corporate. The Corporate-only tools are not available on Pay As You Go.
Click Inspection Ltd is not registered for VAT, so no VAT is charged. If we register, we will tell you at least 30 days before we start charging it, and you can cancel before it applies.
We may set a fair-use limit on how many photographs an account can have read in 24 hours, so that the service keeps working for everyone.
Paying
- Payment is by card, taken by Stripe. You authorise us to charge the card on the account for your plan’s fees as they fall due.
- Plans are billed monthly, and Stripe emails a receipt for each payment. Pay As You Go surveys and premium tools are billed at the end of the monthly period in which they were used.
- The person who took out the subscription can see invoices and change the card from Billing, under Your account in the web portal.
- If a payment fails, Stripe tries it again and we will contact you. If it is still unpaid 14 days after we have told you, we may suspend the account until it is paid. Nothing is deleted while an account is suspended.
Price changes
We may change our prices. We will email you at least 30 days before a change affects you, and it applies from your next monthly billing period after that. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it applies.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from Billing, under Your account in the web portal, or by emailing info@clickinspection.com from the email address on the account.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of the monthly billing period you are in, and you keep full access until then. On Pay As You Go, surveys and premium tools used up to that point are billed as normal.
- We do not refund part of a period. If we have charged you in error, we will put it right.
- To change plan, email info@clickinspection.com.
When an account ends
When a subscription ends, the app and the portal stop working for the account. We keep its records for six months, so you can come back or ask us for a copy, and then erase them, as the privacy policy explains. Inspections saved on a phone stay there until the app is deleted. To have an account’s data erased sooner, see Delete your account.
Your data
The inspection records, photographs and documents you create are yours. You allow us to hold and process them only to provide the service to you, as the privacy policy describes. We never sell them.
Our software
The app, the portal and this website, other than your records, belong to us or the people we license from. While your subscription runs, you may use them in your business for the inspectors on your plan. You must not copy, resell or rent out the service, try to reverse engineer it, get around its security or its limits, or use it to break the law or anyone’s rights. The reports and documents it produces for your inspections are yours to use.
Availability
We work to keep the service running, but we cannot promise it will always be available or free of faults. The app keeps working without signal, and what is captured on a phone syncs when the service can be reached. We may pause the service for maintenance, and try to do that outside working hours. The service relies on other providers, such as our hosting company, Stripe, our AI provider and the app stores, whose availability is outside our control.
Our liability
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited.
- Apart from that, we are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business, contracts or goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
- We are not responsible for the content of the reports and records you lodge, for the outcome of a lodgement, a scheme audit or a quality assurance review, or for decisions made on information that was not checked.
- Apart from the first point, our total liability to you in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the event that gave rise to the claim.
Suspending or ending an account
We may suspend an account for non-payment, as set out above. We may suspend or end an account straight away if it is used in serious or repeated breach of these terms, or where we must to protect the service or to comply with the law, and we will tell you why. We may also end the agreement for any reason by giving you at least 30 days’ notice, and will refund any fees paid for the time after it ends.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the service or the law changes. We will email you at least 30 days before a change that affects you, and you can cancel before it applies. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
Everything else
- These terms are the whole agreement between us about the service. Nothing else applies unless we agree it in writing.
- Nobody else has any right to enforce them.
- You may not transfer the agreement without our consent. We may transfer it to a business that takes over the service, and will tell you if we do.
- If a court decides part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
- Neither of us is responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
